SINS WHICH MANY CATHOLICS NO LONGER

CONSIDER   AS  SINS

  Calling God's Name in vain, Failing to attend Mass on Sunday or Holy Days of Obligation, Shopping or doing physical works on Sunday, Abandoning the Catholic Church, Having vasectomy or hysterectomy or other surgical procedures in order not having any more children,  Practicing contraception, using birth control pills or other unnatural means,  Masturbation,  Abortion,  Being pro-abortion, Being neutral on abortion issue, Voting for pro-abortion candidates Doing nothing to stop the killing of the unborn, Adultery, Having sex outside of marriage Having unmarried sex, sex before marriage, man-and-woman living together, Having homosexual sex, Greed on materialistic gains, Worshipping man-made idols or self-idolizing, Pride or losing the awareness of sins, Divorce without annulment being granted, Neglecting parental responsibilities for materialistic or selfish gains, Both spouses working while neglecting the upbringing of their children, Not to raise one's children according to the Catholic Faith, Viewing pornographic materials, Lust, Receiving the Lord in the Holy Communion while being such a sinful state, (Communal penance service once a year will not efface  mortal sins as it does not replace an individual confession.  In doubt, consult the Catechism of the Catholic Church.) Receive Holy Communion without proper reverence, repentance, thanksgiving, and love for God. Receiving Holy Communion with a disbelief in the Real Presence, Irreverence during the Holy Mass by talking, chewing gum, being absent-minded, improper dressing, etc. Being ignorant towards the Teaching of the Church.       MY HOME PAGE
