Miscellaneous Religious

(Followed are the miscellaneous religious topics that I hope some day I will have time to expand, but I just write down some thoughts for now.)

"How can God punish me as He cannot do anything which is so intrinsically evil?"

Often I was criticized of spreading fear and fallacies as I was writing about all the bad things, God's chastisement, gloom-and-doom prophecies and so on. How can God punish His people, how can He do something so intrinsically evil?
If we spend time to study the Bible, we should realize that the Lord often chastised His chosen people when they turned away from Him. He used the Chaldeans, Persians, Babylonians to accomplish His plans. In the end, Israelites always repent and came back to God after enduring their miseries. Man only beg his Creator for forgiveness and mercy  on his knees. How about Sodom, Gomorra? How about Nineveh? Do we expect God to allow us to carry on with our sinful inclinations, killing His innocent babies, blaspheming Him daily in Mass, in homosexual and sex acts, in dirty pornography, in liberal theology and ideas, and to lure many of His erring children into the bottomless pits? What kind of God or Father would He be just to ignore while His children being slaughtered? Would we punish our own flesh and blood if our child disobey us? Does punishing a child mean wishing evil on him or hoping that he will change for the better? If we can do that much, why we expect God to do less?

My friends, God would destroy us all for all the sins we are committing right at this moment if it is not for the Sacrifice of the Mass and the imploring Intercession of His Mother. To chastise or not to chastise is His Plan and His Omnipotence. For us to say that He cannot allow suffering to be inflicted upon His sinful creatures is simply blasphemy especially when the evil-doers are existing just because the world has become so evil that it has turned into the breeding ground for them. To question God's actions and rationalize religion based on our limited thoughts is to begin a separation process which will only ultimately lead to liberal theology and rebellion. Did the Reformation follow the same road of rationalism?

"Do this in remembrance of Me."

This is the last words our Savior spoke to us through His apostles as He instituted the Holy Mass on earth.  People today still argue about the value of the New Mass after Vatican II, still compare the New Mass to the Latin Mass, still concern about all the liturgical abuses after Vatican II, still worry about the children's behaviors, still concern about million things related to the Mass.

One person once asked the Lord Jesus how He felt about the New Mass and He answered: " How can they love Me while they carry it out with haste." How can we do It in rmembrance of Him while we are so hung up with many ceremonial details or human concerns? I used to park my car and flew across a busy street to get to Mass on time due to my working schedule every morning. And when I knelt down on the pew, trying to catch my breath, I was also overcome by the Presence of God, by the love for Him, and by the desire to be with Him and to receive Him.

Prepare for the Holy Mass with your heart, my friends, as burnt offerings He does not want but your love.  Next time going to Mass, be a little bit hungrier for the love of Christ. Do It in remembrance of Him, in remembering that because of our sins He did die, because of His love for us, He did suffer, and because of desire to be with us always, He instituted the Holy Mass or the Sacrament of Divine Love.

Jeffrey Dalmer went to Heaven.

Recently I had a chance to discuss religion with a Christian  who expectedly did not believe in Purgatory as it was not mentioned in the Bible. And I reminded her that the Bible itself stated that not everything could be included in the Bible. She went on to say that she believed that she would go straight to Heaven after she died and she really believed that Dalmer, a serial killer, was now in Heaven with God because he was "saved" as an infant meaning he was baptized. Where is the Divine Justice if this heretical nonsense was true? Is salvation a blank check regardless of how one lives his life as long he believed Jesus was the Son of God? Does Satan himself know that?  This kind of heretical religion is very dangerous as it accounts for no personal responsibility or a moral virtuous life. A person can believe that he can commit all sorts of vices or sins as long as he proclaims to be a Christian. On the other hand, all non-Christians are condemned, deprived of salvation  regardless of their dispositions according to this heretical religion.  This kind of reasoning is ludicrous even to a child. I myself call this religion is the religion of convenience, the religion invented by the Devil himself who disguises the bottomless pit so that sinners can easily fall in. You cannot serve two masters as the Lord had said, you cannot proclaim to be His disciple while you also worship the god of materialism or the goddess of sexual pleasures. You cannot attend the Heavenly banquet in a ragged attire as the Host will throw you out into the place of darkness and gnashing teeth. That Christian lady believed in guaranteed salvation quoted from the Bible, so now I will also quote from the Bible to refute the heretics:

"24 But if the just man turn himself away from his justice, and do iniquity according to all the abominations which the wicked man useth to work, shall he live? all his justices which he hath done, shall not be remembered: in the prevarication, by which he hath revaricated, and in his sin, which he hath committed, in them he shall die.

25 And you have said: The way of the Lord is not right. Hear ye, therefore, O house of Israel: Is it my way that is not right, and are not rather your ways perverse?

26 For when the just turneth himself away from his justice, and committeth iniquity, he shall die therein: in the injustice that he hath wrought he shall die.

27 And when the wicked turneth himself away from his wickedness, which he hath wrought, and doeth judgment, and justice: he shall save his soul alive.

28 Because he considereth and turneth away himself from all his iniquities which he hath wrought, he shall surely live, and not die.

29 And the children of Israel say: The way of the Lord is not right. Are not my ways right, O house of Israel, and are not rather your ways perverse?

30 Therefore will I judge every man according to his ways, O house of Israel, saith the Lord God. Be converted, and do penance for all your iniquities: and iniquity shall not be your ruin.

31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, by which you have transgressed, and make to yourselves a new heart, and a new spirit: and why will you die, O house of Israel?

32 For I desire not the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God, return ye and live. "

By Faith alone that we are saved as Faith and salvation are free gifts from God. But by our own actions, we also can destroy that faith and reject the gift of eternal life.
